The Rossmann Group is the largest paper recycler in Romania.
In 2016 Ambro SA recycled 132 477 tons of wastepaper, namely over 35% of the total recycled wastepaper in Romania.

WOOD PACKAGING
Timber pallets used in the Rossmann Group for the transport of finished products to the customer are used 2-3 times, the waste resulting from wear being converted into caloric material. The use of wood waste as a calorific material leads to the saving of forests and to savings in the consumption of other materials as fuel.
WASTE WATER TREATMENT
Industrial wastewater can be regarded as recyclable waste due to the characteristics of being treated / pre-treated in specially arranged installations and given to the environment purified by the substances with which it was loaded during the industrial process. Rossmann Romania applies complex industrial water recirculation processes in a closed system.
METAL WASTE
In the processing processes, as well as in those of use of the products in which they are incorporated, the metals do not significantly change their physicochemical properties, being subject to unlimited cycles of return to the economic circuit.
Rossmann Romania recycles metal waste, thus saving natural resources, electricity, the work made during extraction and primary processing of ores, involving also much less quantitative pollutant emissions.
